Golf Holidays in Austria - FAQs
Can I only arrive on Saturdays?
Saturday is the usual arrival/departure day for the Wilden Kaiser Brixental area but you holiday dates and durations are up to you. At peak season it may be that all our accommodation is fully booked but we pride ourselves on being able to find alternative accommodation of a similar standard and we'll always give you full details before we take your booking.
My partner doesn't want to play golf. Is there anything else they can do whilst I'm on the course?
The area is full of things to do - cycling, mountain biking, walking and many other activities which can easily be arranged either before you travel or in resort. Excursions to places of interest or resting, relaxing, enjoying the scenery, taking coffee and cake or trying out some of the local wellness treatments are all freely available.
Can I play the same course more than once?
You can play whichever courses you want and however many times you want to play them. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and service so if you plan something and then want to change it we'll always try to give you what you want.
What's the weather like for golf?
Austria has similar weather to the UK, although it's usually warmer in summer. Alpine weather can go from one extreme to another such as a torrential downpour and thunderstorm after a hot day. Temperatures are usually not so hot that it becomes uncomfortable to play golf or any other local sport - which is why this area is ideal for an activity holiday of any kind.
Can you arrange car-hire?
Yes, we're happy to arrange car-hire either in resort or at the airport if you prefer the flexibility of having your own transport. We can also arrange taxis and excursions in resort for your convenience
