Golf Club Information

This golf course is set in the scenic Salzach valley and is one of the biggest in the Austrian Alps.  It's twinned with Schmittenhohe, providing two eighteen hole courses in one huge park like landscape and close to the Zeller Lake (sailing, swimming & other water sports).  The high mountains around leading up to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, provide a perfect backdrop for a day's golfing.  The course has been used by the Austrian golf body (OVB) to host the Ladies Open as part of the European Ladies Circuit.   It's also been used by the Austrian Men's charity tournament and players such as Norman, Balesteros & Langer have been impressed with the layout and design of the course.  Langer holds the course record at 66 shots.
