Frequently asked questions
Are long weekends & midweek arrivals/departures possible?
Most people come from Saturday to Saturday, for a 7 night holiday, but we are flexible and you can stay for as long as you like. Arrivals and departures outside this normal framework may incur a transfer supplement but you'll be advised of this at the time of booking.
Where can we book our flights?
We're very sorry to see that Flybe have directed their aircraft to other destinations for the summer but happy that Ryanair are still serving Salzburg on a daily basis from Stansted. SkyEurope are now operational from Manchester and there are new routes into Salzburg and Innsbruck springing up all the time. For other departure airports we can thoroughly recommend BA, whose website has some super low fares. Click onto www.ba.com to check out availability.
I want to drive down/bring my own bike. Will I get a reduction off the package price?
Of course you will! If we're not providing you with something which is included in the package price we'll apply the reduction at the time of booking so the price you're quoted is the price you'll pay.
Can my teenager take part in all the water activities?
As long as they're generally active, can swim and of average build the answer is 'yes'. There would only really be problem if we couldn't find a neoprene suite to fit them properly but generally there shouldn't be a problem
Do you cater for non-active types?
Of course. Anyone is welcome to join us and if one of your party prefers not to get involved we can suggest alternatives to keep them amused whilst you're out having fun. We simply deduct the tailor-made activity pack price from the cost of your package so you're not booking something you don't want.
What's the weather like in Tirol?
Generally the weather in summer is warmer than in the UK but we can't guarantee endless sunshine. The occasional rain keeps the scenery fresh. The mountain climate lends itself to activity holidays because the last thing you want is to be slowly melting in the heat whilst you're trying to enjoy your sport
