Adult Intermediates

Scheffau has such a range of pistes and so many to choose from as it's part of SkiWelt, Austria's largest inter-connected ski arena it's a great place to branch out and really improve your skiing if you have the basics from a previous ski holiday.

Ski School

Ski school lessons for intermediates start at the top of the Brandstadl Mountain with the division of classes on Monday morning. Sunday is free to get your ski legs back and to do a bit of exploring on your own. If you would like to take a private lesson to get you back into the swing of things please let us know and we'll be happy to make the arrangements for you.

The first day you'll have two hours of instruction suitable for your level and this is the pattern for the rest of the week until Thursday when you'll explore farther afield on SkiWelt day, which means touring with your instructor.

Lessons are aimed at improving your technique and moving you on to the next stage of skiing, building your confidence and having fun as you do so.

Ski Afternoons

Each afternoon is free to do what you want. You might meet up with friends from other classes, take advantage of your SkiWelt pass to head off in another direction or you can book 'your' instructor for those extra tips and time to spend on really improving your skiing. Private lessons and carving lessons are also available if you choose to hone in on something that you feel you haven't quite got right yet or you may want to take advantage of a video lesson and de-brief to really help you improve your technique. As with anything, please feel free to ask your resort host for suggestions, advice or to arrange any ski or other activities. We're there to help and make sure your holiday runs smoothly and you get the best from your time away in the mountains.

Ski Equipment

Your SkiWelt pass, allowing you VIP access to the Scheffau gondola and covering the whole of the lift system in the area, will be waiting for you when you get to resort, along with your Ski School course card. Ski boots, poles and skis can be picked up at ski-hire at your convenience and we'll arrange an appropriate time to fit in with your arrival in resort so you can start your holiday when you want to instead of spending time in queues collecting those vital extras.
