Come and join us in Scheffau for our 2008 Parties on the Piste - a singles ski holiday . Specially designed for anyone who wants to learn to or improve their skiing/snowboarding and enjoy the delights of winter in the mountains.

The Apres Ski doesn't stop at Joe's Bar on the piste (or any of the other apres ski places) but continues into the night with a varied range of evening entertainment and it's all included in your holiday price.

Whether you're traveling with someone else or on your own we're sure you'll make friends and meet new people on your winter get-away with MTS.

Itinerary

What's included :

Holiday Hotel : We're staying at the Chalets Leitenhof, right at the top of the village, with it's own mini-bus shuttle to the ski bus and back. These chalets proved the hit accommodation of the last two ski seasons and are normally not available to single travelers. Rooms are Austrian twins with private facilities. Our arrangement includes buffet breakfast and 4 course evening meal for the 7 nights of your stay. A gala dinner rounds off the week and Leitenhof offers various buffet evenings throughout the week.

Ski Arrangements: Classes start at the top of the Brandstadl mountain so you're right at the heart of things from the word go.

Beginners lessons start on Sunday with 4 hours tuition to get you up and running and two hours for the following 4 days, leaving the afternoons free to practice, meet up with friends, go for your sleigh ride or just rest and relax. Optional afternoon lessons to speed your progress are available for a supplement.

Intermediates/advanced start on Mondays for two hours per day except Thursday, which is a Ski World day (4 hours tuition) when you go touring with your instructor.

Snow board Arrangements: Classes start on Sunday and are for three days for two hours per day, which is usually all you'll need to get started.

Ski Pass: A 6-day VIP SkiWelt pass is included in the price of your holiday to give you the freedom to ski/board anywhere amongst the 250km of prepared piste of Austria's largest inter-connected ski arena

Ski/Board Hire: 6 days ski and boot hire is included in the price of your holiday. Supplement for snow board/boots £35.00

Airport Transfers: We'll pick you up at 12 noon on your arrival day and drop you off at Salzburg Airport by 9am on your departure day. Transfers are by taxi or taxi minibus and we're dedicated to getting you and to and from the airport in the most direct and efficient way possible. Please ask for details when booking your flights

Sleigh Ride: A horse-drawn sleigh ride is included in your holiday price. Use one of your afternoons to enjoy the countryside in this traditional (and fun!) manner.

Evening Entertainment: To help you get the very best from winter in the mountains we've included the following evenings as part of your holiday -

Candlelit Walk - through the village and surrounding woods. A memorable and enjoyable hour outside after dark.

Bowling evening - spend the evening indoors tonight and test your skill with the skittles whilst imbibing some of the local hospitality.

Tobogganing - take a taxi up the hill and a sledge back down through the pine forest. If you get cold on the first run (you're not doing it right!) you can always top up with a schnapps for the second.

Snow board/Tubing - try your hand at snowboarding and then whizz down the piste in a rubber inner-tube as many times as you like. Warm up with a gluhwein and it's a great night out under the stars.

Gala Dinner - party at the hotel on your final evening, to bid you a fond farewell.

For your free evenings you might like to go and hear a live band in Soll, visit the Whiskey Mueller or the SalvenStadl bars or pop into nearby Ellmau to check out the pubs and clubs there. Scheffau's own nightclub - the KaiserAlm is also open throughout the ski season.
