Ski Evenings
Scheffau has a good range of apres-ski venues and if you want to go further afield Soll and Ellmau also have good apres-ski.
Further into the evening, after dinner perhaps, you may decide you've got enough energy to go and do something different.
There are plenty of bars with live music in the area and exact information for these will be available at the beginning of the next season. Perhaps it's Tirolean music you're after or a taste of home with an English band - there's sure to be something you like nearby.
Tobogganing is a popular after-dinner activity and even more fun in the dark. Candlelit walks around the village are both enchanting and popular.
If you've always wanted to try boarding there's a taster snow board evening once a week, held in the village, so you can have a go and decide if you want to take it further. Snow Tubing is also available here and it's even more fun with a warm drink inside you. It's great for kids of all ages.
The Children's Snow Festival was a new attraction from last season and proved very popular. The children can build snow figures whilst the adults enjoy a drink and there's even a prize for the winners (assuming Dad hasn't helped too much!).
Austrian Bowling nights are also popular and easily arranged through your resort host. Ice skating in nearby Kufstein, curling, Scheffau Shooting Club and night skiing in Soll are all alternative evening entertainments as is the Ski demo night in Ellmau and Scheffau's own Ski Nacht. If you'd prefer something less active then why not sample the local brews and national wines at a tasting evening?
Some of the above are free whilst for others there's a local charge. All are bookable through your resort host whilst in Scheffau.
Winter is really exciting in the mountains with so much going on and Scheffau is the perfect starting point as it lies right in the heart of SkiWelt.
